(840 reviews) Room was clean, housekeeping very good, but shower cubicle too small (room 112), cant speak for any other room. This room is also above the bar which plays music in the evenings, so bear that in mind if you are allocated it. Could do with better placement of one of the two plug sockets in this room. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold selections. We found the luggage storage very handy. This hotel is located off a steep hill, but more the bottom end of the hill, bear that in mind if you have difficulty walking up hill, albeit it it is a very short distance up hill to walk, but failing that you can always get a taxi to the door. Location to transport modes, shops and restaurants was also excellent, all within 5 - 10 min walk. Overall satisfactory I would recommend this hotel and stay again, but in a different room. If I had a different room I may have rated it higher, but an alternative wasn't offered. (721 reviews) The hotel is beautiful. The staff are well trained and the manager provided us with a fantastic dinner recommendation and took the time to walk us through some of the sights we should see in the area and throughout Lisbon. Our room very comfortable. The bed was the perfect firmness, shower was large and the fridge well stocked. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and they were accommodating with our allergies. Breakfast was delicious. They had a variety of options, including fresh fruit, cheeses, yogurts, various types of bread, pastries, eggs, hams, cereals, and granola. They also had a variety of juices and coffees. We did not make use of the pool or gym, but they looked well maintained and inviting. We would have gone for a swim, but it was not quite warm enough (even for us Canadians). Wonderful stay and the perfect way to end our trip to Portugal.
